It gives me immense pleasure to float AUCT website which is in fact the culmination of a dream that was born some years ago...a dream to have a name; a palpable identity; a representation! And this dream was visualised in the eyes of countless unaided and aided college teachers!

Today AUCT is a reality! Registered under Societies Registration Act- the first of its own kind in Punjab, it has come as a morale booster for all the unaided teachers of this region. It has been founded with the twin purpose of addressing all the legitimate demands of such teachers as well as putting an end to their exploitation of any kind. AUCT has a priority agenda to give a clarion call to the State Government on one hand and to the VCs of Punjab University, Punjabi University and GNDU, on the other, to ascertain that long pending demands are paid heed to. Prominent amongst these are-

1. Bring unaided college posts under aided scheme
2. Anomalies regarding the PF and DA should be removed and a uniform pattern adopted
3. Recommendations of Sixth Pay Commission pertaining to pending promotions and salary upgradation be implemented at the earliest.

The task we have taken upon ourselves is herculean. But our will is indomitable! I exhort each one of you individually and all of you collectively to make this venture a success by pledging your sincere ,100%
whole hearted contribution !!
